About Lat-E
Lat-E aims to establish a collaborative exchange network with the goal of improving the coverage of environmental issues related to Europe in Latin America and vice versa.
This project serves as a catalyst for advancing investigative environmental journalism on European topics, addressing structural gaps, facilitating knowledge exchange, enhancing skills and connections, and fostering a collaborative environment conducive to impactful reporting. In the context of climate change, it is also increasingly necessary to promote professional collaborations that help avoid long-haul flights, which leave a significant carbon footprint.
